April Selection Box 2025 (France)

Rather than going for a particular region, we've chosen our April Selection 2025 from the all over the fabulous wine making country of France. We have a crisp dry Southern French Sauvignon Blanc, a wonderful blend of Marsanne and Viognier from Pay D'oc, a fine Bordelaise Rose, an excellent 2018 Malbec from Cahors, one of our favourite reds from Corbieres and a cracking Cabernet Franc from the South. All for the discounted price of £79.

Deux Grives Marsanne Viognier, Languedoc-Roussillon, France 2023 (12.5% Vol)

A wine that expresses true harmony of varietals. Viognier lends punchy stone fruit aromas whilst the Marsanne adds refreshing acidity and liveliness. Truly mouth-watering and delicious.

Chateau Haut Rian Rose, Bordeaux, France 2022 (12.5% Vol)

A bouquet of white flowers, strawberries, with some minerality and a touch of spiciness. The palate is round, fresh and balanced with a long, elegant finish.

Chateau la Coustarelle, Cahors, France 2018 (14% Vol)

A full-bodied Cahors with dark cherry on both the nose and palate, which is accompanied by slight aromas of coffee. Goes well with venison or pheasant.

60% Syrah, 20% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre creates a wine with plum, dark chocolate, cherry and some peppery notes. Rich powerful and smooth with good balance. Perfect with red meat stews.

This wine is ripe and juicy with black-fruit tones on the nose. On the palate it shows fruity and savoury notes, with great elegance for the price. Good with coq au vin.
