Viña Real Barrel Fermented Blanco, Rioja 2020 (13% Vol) Regular price £11.30

On the nose - pineapple, apple, vanilla and nuttiness from the oak ageing. Fresh and dry on the palate. An interesting wine with lots of class for the price.

Urbina Blanco Viura, Rioja (12.5% Vol) Regular price £11.49

100% Viura. This white Rioja shows lovely aromatic citrus and floral notes on the nose. It has a well-structured and rounded palate, with apricot, peach and pear flavours, a creamy texture with well-balanced acidity and a long, lingering finish.

Pagos de Galir Godello, Valdeorras 2020 (13.5% Vol) Regular price £16.15

An interesting and fairly rare grape variety with aromas of white peach and citrus on the nose. On the palate - it is fresh, fruity, consistent and has a pleasing long finish.

Viña Real Crianza 2018 (13.5% Vol) Regular price£11.30

This fragrant wine is dominated by red berry aromas, followed by blackberry, plum and cherry on the palate. With one year in oak, this is a good example of the classic Rioja combination of the Tempranillo, Garnacha and Mazuelo grapes.

Marius Reserva, Almansa 2017 (14% Vol) Regular price £9.95

50% Monastrell, 25% Garnacha Tintorera and 25% Tempranillo. Intense and seductive aromas of damsons, plums, cassis and vanilla on the nose. Rich and velvety on the palate with berry fruits, black pepper and cassis. With fine tannins and long plummy finish, this wine is drinking well now but could be laid down to age.

Aragonia Garnacha Selección Especial, Campo de Borja 2018 (14.5% Vol) Regular price £13.75

On the nose - ripe red fruits with some mineral tones and slightly roasted spices. The palate is broad, harmonious and structured, with a very long finish. Great with spicy chorizo dishes.
