Happy New Year everybody! This month’s 6 specially selected bottles all come from South Africa, a country who’s wine production represents excellent quality, value and variety. We have chosen different 'single varietal' wines from a wide range of producers and regions, all of which are worth their place on the shelves at Evington’s. We hope you enjoy them!
Franschhoek Cellar La Cotte Mill Chenin Blanc 2021 (12.5% Vol) Regular price £8.59
This Chenin Blanc shows peach and pineapple aromas, supported by a bright burst of citrus and fresh fruit on the palate. Its freshness cuts through creamy dishes perfectly.
Raka Sauvignon Blanc 2021 (13% Vol) Regular price £13.45
Aromas of grapefruit, citrus and a touch of gooseberry. These characters follow through to the palate and are complemented by mineral tones and a crisp green apple finish. Good with any seafood dish.
Jordan Estate Unoaked Chardonnay 2018 (13% Vol) Regular price £14.35
A totally unoaked offering that is intended to show the true characteristics of the variety. Aromas of freshly grated lemon zest and citrus that finishes with flavours of apricot. Excellent with less delicately flavoured fish dishes.
Oude Kaap Reserve Shiraz 2021 (14% Vol) Regular price £7.09
On the nose – blackberries with a hint of pepper and spice. On the palate - ripe tannins and a good balance of acidity and fruit, lead to a pleasing, well rounded finish.
Franschhoek Cellar, The Churchyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 (14% Vol) Regular price £8.59
Deep crimson with intense blackcurrants and violets on the nose. Currants and mulberry fruit flavours and an attractive oak spice on the palate lead to a lingering juicy fruit finish. Goes well with steak or brisket.
Bellingham Bernard Series Bush Vine Pinotage 2018 (14% Vol) Regular price £16.55
A classy Pinotage, this wine shows black cherry, mulberry and raspberry fruit aromas. An earthy minerality and beautiful oak integration, with well-balanced acidity on the palate. Pairs beautifully with grilled lamb skewers.

Evington´s will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18. We cannot guarantee availability of all products at any one time, however, in the event that a product is unavailable, please contact us and we'll inform you of an estimated time of stock replenishment. We reserve the right not to accept any order. Orders can be for any quantity you require.

Should you decide to cancel, all charges to you will be refunded as soon as the goods are returned in merchantable condition. You will need to return the goods to our store by courier or by hand.
