For November's Selection Box we are returning to the wonderful winemaking world of Italy! This month's choices include a fresh, citrusy and vibrant Grillo from Sicily, a crisp and elegant blend of Garganega and Cortese from northern Italy, a classic Nero d'Avola from Sicily, a juicy, rich and structured Primitivo from Puglia, a hearty full-bodied Negroamaro also from Pulia and an old Evington's favourite in the form of Brindisi Reserva, Sampietrana which is a blend of Negroamaro and Montepulciano. This wine is lemony and zesty on the nose. There's vivid citrus fruit on the palate and a fine crisp finish. It's perfect with crab salad.

This wine has a fruity and intense aroma, with hints of peach and apple. Full-bodied, dry and fresh on the palate, it pairs well with poultry dishes.

This is wine is full of red fruit aromas. On the palate there's lots of fresh fruit and well-balanced acidity. A very versatile wine which will suit all stews and casseroles.

On the nose - plum, blackberry and currant aromas dominate. On the palate - dry, robust, well balanced by fine tannins and a good level of acidity. Great with a sausages.

An aroma of woodland fruits is dominant on the nose. On the palate it is delicate, lightly tannic and has persistent flavours of cherry fruit and spice, leading to a touch of dark chocolate on the finish. Pairs well with mild chilli or a pasta bake.
